Greetings All,

     Thank you for taking time to visit my webpage.  I currently teach Health and Physical Education classes in the Avon Grove Intermediate School.  I teach students in grades three, four, five, and six.

     I completed my undergraduate work at Lock Haven University.  Here I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education.  I completed my Master of Education degree from Millersville University in Sports Administration.

     My  teaching career began as a Health and Physical Education Teacher in the Norristown Area School District.  I was responsible for teaching Health and Physical curriculum to grades K - 12.  I implemented programs of Jump Rope for Heart as well as Hoops for Heart.  I also coached field hockey and softball with the students of Eisenhower Middle School (NASD).

     In 2000, I began my teaching career with the Avon Grove School District.  I was one of six Health and Physical Eduacation Teachers in Fred S. Engle Middle School.  I was also coached high school field hockey and softball.

     When AGSD opened our new building, I was lucky enough to transfer to the Intermediate School.  During my time at AGI, I have been very involved with extracurricular activities.  I created a program titiled "Sports Fanatics", occuring every spring.  This program is sponsored through our PTA After School Enrichment Programs.  It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to meet new friends, have fun, and most importantly get more exercise.

     I have also coached many of the intramural programs including basketball, volleyball, and talent show.  Under my direction we hosted the first ever teacher vs student basketball and volleyball games.   

     In my spare time, I enjoy coaching field hockey.  I am the Head Field Hockey Coach at Immaculata University.  I also coach club hockey with the Typhoons, USTC Downingtown.
